The Astrohauben Balaclava Eco are made of a lightweight, air-permeable PP fleece and cover a large part of the head and also the mouth. They are similar to a balaclava simply put on over the head. Their advantage is that they are an inexpensive and practical alternative to astro hoods with sewn-on mouthguards. The Astrohauben Balaclava Eco are food-safe and therefore ideal for areas where strict hygiene regulations apply - for example, in the food industry and slaughterhouses.
